The Halcyon Pocket is available for use with dry and wet suits.  Preferred DIR placement calls for the use of the bellowed zipper pocket on the left thigh, with plenty of room for a spare mask, bolt snaps, and a few Defender jump and safety spools.  

The bellowed pocket features a streamlined, tapered sidewall design that still allows ease of use with dry gloves or mittens.  It also has two tough braded nylon loops with enough room to clip off a spools and accessories.  Two large grommets along the bottom of the pocket allow for quick draining.

Halcyon pockets add a needed level of level of utility to your wet or dry suit. Halcyon's bellowed pockets provide plenty of room (approximately 168 cubic inches) for a spare mask,Halcyon stainless bolt snaps, defender and spools. The exploration pocket is a large version (approximately 186 cubic inches) to accommodate the extra items required for an extreme dive. Both are available from Halcyon to be mounted on your suit with simple tools and adhesives, and now come with an internal divider for stowing your Halcyons Diver's Note book and a small external compartment for spare parts or line arrows.

The new design surpasses the performance of the original Halcyon Balanced and Unbalanced P-Valves in several respects. The initial focus of the new design is on enhanced streamlining, both inside and outside the exposure suit. Not only does the new valve cap allow for increased ease of operation, even with dry gloves, it allows for easier maintenance access. An optional lock-down screw (provided with the valve) can be used in the valve to prevent removal of the external cap. The simplified hose assembly inside of the suit removes the check-valve assembly of the older Balanced design– increasing the ease of donning and removing your drysuit with the valve in place.
